Who We Are
We are a new company built on many years of experience. Our founding team has spent close to two decades inside international education and global business — leading enrollment, marketing and recruitment for higher-education institutions across Europe, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East and Africa, and building the partner networks that connect students to universities worldwide. We know what institutions need from a recruitment partner because we have sat on the institution's side of the table, setting the targets, managing the networks and answering for the results.
That experience shapes everything about how Connect-ED works: a focused portfolio of vetted institutions rather than an endless catalogue, honest advice delivered without noise, and one accountable advisor walking each student from first conversation to first semester.

Robert Onyango
Team Lead - Kenya
A corporate strategist and the driving force behind Connect-ED in Kenya, Robert leads the company's strategic direction, operational scaling and success in market. His leadership is anchored by a career as a global sales director in highly competitive, growth-driven sectors — experience he now applies to international student placement, converting complex global mobility trends into clear, dependable outcomes for students and partner institutions alike
Tarek Kouatly
Senior Advisor
Tarek brings nearly two decades of senior leadership in international higher education. He is Vice President of Enrollment & Marketing at the International Institute in Geneva, and previously served as Regional Director APAC for Sommet Education (Glion, Les Roches, École Ducasse) and Director of Marketing & Development APAC for Swiss Education Group — leading teams across Singapore, Japan and Thailand and a network of more than ninety recruitment partners. He began his career directing enrollment and marketing at Anatolia College / ACT in Greece, and holds MBAs from EHL Lausanne and the American College of Thessaloniki. At Connect-ED, Tarek oversees university partnerships, advising standards and quality assurance.
